Access for everyone
Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 26 July 2026. Built by Clare is committed to making this website clear, usable and inclusive.
Our aim
This website is being developed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its target. Accessibility is treated as part of the design and build process, not an optional extra.
What the site currently supports
The site uses semantic page structure, descriptive page titles, visible keyboard focus, skip links, responsive layouts and controls designed for keyboard use. Decorative animation can be reduced when your device has reduced motion enabled.
The Project Planner saves unfinished answers on the same device, provides clear validation messages and allows people to return to earlier answers without losing unrelated responses.
Known limitations
The site is still undergoing final accessibility verification. Full screen-reader testing, keyboard-only completion of every Planner route, and zoom and reflow checks at 200% and 400% remain in progress. Until those checks are complete, this statement does not claim full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.
Some client project previews link to third-party websites. Built by Clare does not control the accessibility of those external sites.
If you need help
If anything on this website is difficult to use, or you need information in a different format, email hello@builtbyclare.com. Please tell us which page or feature caused the problem and, if helpful, which browser or assistive technology you were using.
Reporting an accessibility problem
Feedback is welcome. Reported barriers will be reviewed and prioritised according to their impact on completing an important journey. Critical barriers will be addressed before public launch.
Reviewing this statement
This statement will be updated when testing is completed, when a material accessibility issue is found, or when a significant change is made to the site.
