Launch site and supporting graphic system for a leadership book on burnout, psychological safety and AI in IT service teams.

The Squishy Bit

The business needed

The Squishy Bit needed one platform for a book, a distinctive leadership philosophy, assessment tools, speaking work and an evolving library of thinking about automation and psychological safety.

People needed

Readers, event organisers and technology teams each needed a relevant route into Chris Malyon’s work without the ideas becoming dense, academic or generic.

The solution

I separated the intellectual property into purposeful routes for the philosophy, book, Game Changer assessment and insights. Speaking credentials and operational experience appear where enterprise buyers and event organisers need proof.

Decision

Give each audience a focused next step.

Why it matters

Readers can explore the book, teams can understand the assessment and organisers can evaluate speaking experience without competing calls to action.

Brand guidelines

A stealth-industrial system built for executive authority.

Chris Malyon’s brand needed to read as premium and battle-tested, not another generic corporate deck.

The guidelines set out the voice, palette, type and imagery rules that keep every touchpoint consistent as the platform grows.

Graphic design

A visual system for the book beyond the book.

The Squishy Bit had to carry Chris Malyon’s thinking across the book, professional profiles and launch communications.

I extended the digital identity into a set of graphic assets that make the book immediately recognisable wherever it appears.
